The ROLE:
MILK MAKEUP is looking for a Senior Manager of Creative Operations, responsible for assisting
all operations and content production for the organization. This role will support the creative team in setting up operational processes and project management for all content creation to build the brand and support business goals across 360 initiatives.
This role requires you to be in-office 4 days a week.
How You’ll Thrive
The Senior Manager of Creative Operations will be responsible for helping to maintain processes for all creative operations. This will require an understanding of all elements of the creative process, an overall understanding of the flow of business and short timelines in the digital sphere.
This role will be responsible for helping to sustain an end to end process from cross functional briefing to final asset delivery, including but not limited to: helping project schedules stay on track and helping to make sure key milestones are met to move projects along and helping to hold the creative team accountable to project timelines and deliverables.
The Senior Manager of Creative Operations will also assist the creative team in the production of brand content across all initiatives from large to small scale and in between. They will help manage incoming requests, scheduling, and workflow through existing and new project management systems. They will also help organize and manage the delivery and storage of assets through Bynder.
This role will be responsible for facilitating the prioritization of all content types and assigning workload based on the varied strengths of internal teams to shoot/create and design content and write all copy across the brand. This will include inspirational top of funnel campaign content as well as conversion-driving lower-funnel content across stills and video.
This role will require in depth knowledge of industry production standards and the mechanics of a photo / video shoot.
The Senior Manager of Creative Operations will partner closely with Visual, Editorial and Social Creative and work cross functionally with Marketing, Retail and Product Development to understand all goals to achieve the vision.
The Senior Manager of Creative Operations is responsible for reviewing all cross functional briefs so the creative team can action the brief with a full understanding of the project needs. This will require a partnership with Marketing Operations to make sure all briefs and timelines are aligned from a strategic perspective focusing on business priorities. They will oversee the flow of information and assets to and from the creative team - all while adhering to quality and creative deadlines.
Duties also include helping to maintain internal traffic systems, creating schedules and tracking project progress, and routing work for review and approval. They will support the team by prioritizing and managing feedback, and updating internal stakeholders and clients on project progress and status along with any changes to timelines.
The Senior Manager of Creative Operations will lead process and timelines for campaign brief to final delivery, all digital and copy requests across the brand for all touchpoints including global retail ie PPages, brand pages, banners, promotional assets, SBC/MBC, onside ads, SMS/MMS and edu. They will manage the timelines and processes from brief to final delivery for global paid media, organic social, DTC including CRM/Emails and MMU.com.
This role will also require the Senior Manager of Creative Operations to assist in scoping the full team’s workload and assess the need for contracting freelancers and creative partners.
We’d like YOU to have:
3+ years of creative operations experience
3+ years of photo / video shoot production experience
College degree; BA or BFA in related field required.
Understanding of art direction, photography, video and design.
Passion for beauty and fashion.
Understanding of photography and video production.
Understanding of current industry related trends.
Understanding of creative production logistics, legalities and budgets.
Understanding of project management and processes.
Understanding of the social landscape and the various types of social media content.
Experience in using some sort of project management software.
Good relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines.
They stay calm under pressure and know how to prioritize their workload and time.
Team player: Enjoys working with others and collaborating with positive attitude.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
