Role Overview
As Strategy & Corporate Development Manager, you will support UnlockLand’s growth initiatives through market research, strategic analysis, financial modeling, and partnership execution. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of strategy, finance, and product intelligence, and who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.
You will work closely with senior leadership to translate market insights and partner requirements into actionable analyses that inform product direction, go-to-market strategy, and expansion planning.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Market Analysis
- Conduct market, competitive, and industry research across real estate, PropTech, and AI-enabled planning tools.
- Support strategic planning initiatives by preparing market entry analyses, sector deep dives, and growth opportunity assessments.
- Track macroeconomic, regulatory, and development trends to inform product and expansion decisions.
Corporate Development & Partnerships
- Support evaluation of partnerships, strategic alliances, and pilot programs with developers, institutions, and public-sector stakeholders.
- Assist with due diligence, partner assessments, and business case development.
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and internal memos for partnership discussions and executive reviews.
Financial & Business Modeling
- Build and maintain financial models to assess new markets, product modules, pricing strategies, and enterprise use cases.
- Support ROI, unit economics, and scenario analysis for platform investments and expansion initiatives.
- Assist with materials for fundraising, investor updates, and strategic planning discussions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to align market needs with platform capabilities.
- Translate strategic insights into clear recommendations that inform roadmap prioritization and commercialization efforts.
- Support ad-hoc strategic projects as the company scales.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, investment analysis, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; comfort working with complex datasets and assumptions.
- Familiarity with real estate, PropTech, infrastructure, or urban development is a strong asset.
- Experience working in startups, high-growth technology companies, or advisory environments preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas clearly.
