The System Analyst will be responsible for developing Epicor Kinetic dashboards, BAQs, and reports, as well as supporting Power BI analytics used by leadership and operational teams. The System Analyst will also assist with daily IT support functions, including troubleshooting user issues, supporting business applications, and helping maintain a reliable technological environment. This position requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with ERP data structures, and the ability to deliver practical reporting solutions in a manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Epicor ERP Development & Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain Epicor Kinetic dashboards, Business Activity Queries (BAQs), and SSRS reports.
  • Translate business requirements into Epicor-based data solutions and reporting tools.
  • Support the creation of operational and financial reporting used across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams.
  • Optimize existing Epicor reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
  • Assist with Epicor data validation and ensure data integrity across reporting outputs.

Power BI Analytics

  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards leveraging Epicor ERP data.
  • Build and manage data models, datasets, and visualizations in Power BI.
  • Partner with business teams to create KPI dashboards and operational performance metrics.
  • Support integration of Epicor data with other business systems where required.

Business Systems Support

  • Serve as a functional support resource for Epicor reporting and analytics requests.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Document reporting logic, dashboard designs, and system configurations.
  • Train business users on dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools.

IT Helpdesk & User Support

  • Provide front-line IT support to employees for hardware, software, and system issues.
  • Troubleshoot user issues related to ERP, reporting tools, and general IT systems.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding, including system access and workstation setup.
  • Assist with printer, network, and workstation troubleshooting.

IT Operations Support

  • Work with the IT team to maintain reliable systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist with system upgrades, software deployments, and configuration changes.
  • Document system processes, reporting structures, and IT procedures.
  • Help maintain security and access controls across business systems.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data accessibility.
  • Assist with ERP system enhancements and upgrades related to reporting functionality.
  • Recommend best practices for ERP reporting and business intelligence.
  • Work as directed by manager


Health & Safety:

  • Report and take required action regarding injuries, incidents, medical, and accidents required by policy.
  • Make the health, safety, protection of rights, and the development of all employees your primary responsibilities.
  • Follow all agency safety/medical related policies and procedures.
  • Follow fire evacuation and disaster procedures correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Report unsafe situations immediately; ensuring safety is imperative.
  • Report symptoms and signs of communicable diseases immediately.
  • Report any incident that could potentially result in negative reactions from the community, law enforcement officers, and other agencies to the supervisor immediately.


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICIATIONS, and TRAININGS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience working with ERP systems in a reporting or analyst capacity.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, or queries in Epicor ERP (preferred: Epicor Kinetic).
  • Experience with Power BI development and dashboard creation.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.


COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with Epicor BAQs, dashboards, and SSRS reporting.
  • Experience supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and ETL concepts.
  • Experience working with financial or operational KPI reporting.
  • Microsoft: Office 365; SharePoint; Teams; Visio; and OneNote preferred.
  • Ability to operate media equipment such as tablets, smartphones, and other electronic equipment.
  • Ability to work with general office equipment.
  • Ability to work with and understand databases a must and the ability to learn technical skills.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Shall have essential physical skills; be able to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, be able to lift at least 50 pounds (or ¼ own body weight).
  • Shall have adequate vision, reading, writing, and documentation skills, and hearing to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Must have enough endurance to perform tasks over long periods of time.
  • Will be engaged in speaking, sitting, walking, driving, listening, and in communicating both orally and in writing while performing his or her duties.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to questions and instructions.
