Responsibilities
Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate employee health services in the local market, ensuring alignment with system strategies, policies, and procedures
Serve as a key resource for education, communication, and support related to occupational health, infection prevention, workers’ compensation, and staff wellness initiatives
Conduct routine occupational health activities and support programs that promote staff safety and well-being; assist with program documentation and reporting
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintain accurate records and assist with incident management
Promote infection prevention principles and provide education to staff on health and safety practices within the occupational health program
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse license in California
Knowledge of occupational health concepts, infection prevention, and workers’ compensation processes
Ability to work in a hospital-based setting and provide on-site support
Strong communication and education skills; aptitude for staff coaching and program coordination
BLS certification preferred; experience in occupational health, infection prevention, or workers’ compensation is a plus
Availability to participate in a travel assignment and meet the assignment start date and duration
