A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to partner directly with the CEO and lead the evolution of the company’s people strategy, leadership capability, and HR infrastructure during a period of rapid growth and acquisition activity.
This is a highly visible role for a hands-on HR leader who can operate strategically while also driving execution across recruiting, employee relations, organizational development, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
The organization operates within a fast-paced, multi-state environment. The business is entrepreneurial, operationally intensive, and scaling quickly.
This position is based in Fort Lauderdale onsite 4 days a week, with 1 flex day if needed.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the senior HR leader and trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team
Strengthen leadership capability, coaching, and management effectiveness across the organization
Improve recruiting processes and talent acquisition outcomes across administrative, operational, customer support, and healthcare-related functions
Lead employee relations, engagement, performance management, compensation, and benefits initiatives
Build scalable HR programs and infrastructure to support continued growth and acquisitions
Partner with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
Oversee HR support for a blended workforce that includes domestic employees, offshore personnel, contractors, and outsourced teams
Drive accountability, process improvement, and stronger people leadership practices throughout the organization
Ideal Background
Senior HR leadership experience within healthcare, pharmacy services, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, managed care, healthcare technology, or related industries
Experience supporting fast-growing, entrepreneurial, or founder-led organizations
Strong operational mindset with ability to move between strategy and execution
Demonstrated success improving leadership capability and organizational effectiveness
Experience supporting distributed and/or international workforces preferred
Comfort operating within complex, rapidly evolving environments with multiple priorities
