We're seeking someone to join our team as a Vice President in ISG Equity Operations to lead complex operational processes within a newly established operations team that provides fund administration services for over $700billion in assets across 350+ hedge funds, private equity and large family offices clients.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Team Manager position at Vice President level within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What You'll Do In The Role
Lead projects and control deployment of resources, owning management tools/methods such as work queues, checklists, depth charts and calendars
Develop leaders and build high-performing teams
Set direction and expectations for your team(s), defining training plans and transfer of expert knowledge to contribute to team output and development
Contribute to business plan for area, establish risk/contingency plans, raise and address issues with urgency when required
Build and manage relationships with business unit partners, other Morgan Stanley infrastructure departments, and external contact points in Client or Market organizations
Serve as a senior client-facing point of contact, proactively managing client communications, setting expectations, and translating client requirements into scalable, well controlled operational workflows
What You'll Bring To The Role
Strong relationship building skills serving as a role model for client service
Ability to think commercially, understand the impact of initiatives, risks on the operational budget and ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions
Experience in managing teams, enhancing control, continuous improvement with a transformation mindset while reducing operational risk
Culture carrier and role model, representing and leading the Firm's core values to influence and motivate those around you
Ability to address non-standard issues within area of expertise
Demonstrated leadership of managers and senior professionals
Strategic mindset with hands-on operational expertise with a strong track record of managing risk and operational change
Proven track record of partnering with clients to understand evolving business needs, communicate service impacts, and ensure operational support aligns with commercial objectives and client expectations
At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Salary range for the position: $93,000 - $140,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
