Senior HR Leader (VP / Sr. Director Level)

We’re partnering with a fast-scaling technology company to identify a proven HR leader who has already operated at the VP or Senior Director level. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who has led HR through growth, transformation, and scale, not a developmental step-up, but a seat at the table.

This leader will help shape people strategy, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and build scalable HR infrastructure to support the next phase of growth.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic HR Leadership

• Design and execute HR strategies aligned to business goals, with a focus on talent development, retention, and engagement
• Partner with senior leadership on job architecture, workforce planning, and career frameworks
• Own and evolve a unified talent strategy supporting hiring, headcount planning, and organizational scale

Business Partnership & Executive Coaching

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational and people-related decisions
• Coach leaders on performance management, talent planning, learning & development, and compensation
• Assess organizational health and capability, identifying gaps and driving practical solutions

Organizational Design & Employee Relations

• Guide leaders on org design and structure to improve efficiency and outcomes
• Oversee employee relations and serve as an escalation point for managers and employees

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Impact

• Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure strong execution across initiatives
• Drive cross-functional projects that enhance HR programs and company-wide capabilities

Culture & Leadership Effectiveness

• Champion a culture centered on ownership, servant leadership, and long-term value creation
• Embed cultural expectations into leadership development, performance management, and org design
• Measure cultural health using qualitative and quantitative insights, proactively addressing risks and opportunities

What They're Looking For

Experience & Background

• 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience
• Prior leadership experience in a high-growth and/or PE-backed company
• Broad HR expertise including workforce planning, job architecture, total rewards, HR operations, and HRBP models
• Proven success scaling HR functions and building enterprise-ready people systems
• M&A and/or international experience is a plus
• Advanced degree or professional certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred

• Strong executive presence with the ability to partner credibly with C-level leaders

• Experienced in transitioning organizations from entrepreneurial/start-up environments to scalable, structured operations

Salary ranges from $180,000 - $220,000 depending on experience. There is also a 15-20% bonus on offer, and future equity components for high performers.

This position is hybrid in Plano (3 days in office, 2 days from home).
