Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary Statement:

The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, and the safe handling of solar module materials. This role is crucial in maintaining a smooth supply chain to meet production and distribution demands across international markets.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of solar modules and materials.
• Leads a team of warehouse workers, including staffing, training, performance monitoring, and providing guidance to meet operational goals and productivity targets.
• Oversees inventory management processes, ensuring the accurate tracking of stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring proper rotation of materials.
• Ensures all warehouse operations adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards for quality control.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Develops and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout and organization to improve efficiency and minimize product damage.
• Collaborates with procurement, production, and shipping departments to coordinate the timely delivery and receipt of goods.
• Drives productivity and efficiency improvements by implementing best practices and process enhancements.
• Maintains and enforces strict safety protocols, ensuring all warehouse personnel are trained on equipment usage and safety guidelines.
• Monitors and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and employee performance.
• Troubleshoots and resolves operational issues that arise within the warehouse.
• Works with international teams to coordinate cross-border shipments, ensuring compliance with local customs regulations and international shipping standards.
• Ensures all equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, is properly maintained and serviced.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing or international supply chain environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics processes.
• Ability to lead a diverse team and coordinate across multiple regions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs requirements.
• Fluency in English required; additional language proficiency is a plus (especially in Spanish)
