Job Description
Provides holistic (nutrition, fitness and emotional) wellness information to support wellness programs and promote healthy behaviors to employees. Assist in the design and implementation of comprehensive wellness consultations and supports a culture of excellence in health and wellness.
Part time role equaling 24 hours/wk. Prefer candidate to work on Mondays and Wednesdays and then are flexible for 3rd and/or 4th day.
Location: Will be based out of Scottish Rite but may be asked to support multiple locations including Arthur M Blank Hospital and the Support Center, as well as visits each quarter to Urgent Care sites. May do occasional night rounds or weekend rounds to assist clinical and operation teams working on those shifts.

Job Description

Experience
- 1 year of experience in wellness coaching or related field
- Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or similar organization
- Registration with Commission on Dietetic Registration with Georgia license
- Experience in healthcare industry
- Experience in motivational interviewing
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise and Health Science, or related field
- CPR
- Certified Health & Wellness Coach through an approved training program from the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC)
- Proven ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environment, manage time and multiple assignments, meet frequent deadlines, and shift priorities
- Excellent presentation/demonstration, verbal, and written communication skills
- Maintains knowledge of national wellness guidelines, recommendations, and best practices
- Ability to commute to multiple locations as needed

- Conducts wellness assessments and consultations for employees.
- Develops and delivers customized wellness plans for employees.
- Works one-on-one with employees to help them achieve their wellness goals.
- Plans, schedules, implements, and/ or participates in wellness programs, activities, events, and activities sponsored by Strong4Life
- Coordinates administrative duties, including provides materials, data collection, and reporting.
- Visits to neighborhood locations to deliver wellness coaching presentations, consultations, or other wellness related activities.
- Regularly engaging with employees in their work settings and/or other parts of the hospitals promoting Strong4Life and wellness programming.
- Follows timely and secure documentation processes and procedures.
- Facilitates wellness activities for team engagements.
- Participates in content collaboration and creation for presentations, workshops, collateral, etc.
