Youth Minister

This is a part-time on-site Youth Minister position located in Shawnee, OK. The Youth Minister's primary responsibilities include organizing and leading youth programs, teaching Bible study and scripture-based lessons, and mentoring young members in their spiritual development. Additional tasks include planning events, facilitating outreach activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the youth ministry. The role prioritizes leading youth in their faith journeys and maintaining engagement with the wider church community.

• Experience in Youth Ministry and a passion for mentoring young individuals in their spiritual and personal growth
• Proficiency in Bible Study, Bible Teaching, and engaging others in scripture-based discussions
• Pastoral skills encompassing spiritual guidance, mentorship, and the ability to build strong relationships within the congregation
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of youth and volunteers in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with planning faith-based initiatives, events, and outreach programs
• Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, or a related field preferred
