Construction is disruptive. There isn't much getting around that. But there is a big difference between a project that simply tells people what's happening, and one that takes the time to explain, listen and respond. In my experience, that's what people remember long after the HGVs have gone. I wrote this piece for Construction News on why good community relations isn't a nice-to-have.
