There are still a lot of questions about the benefits of full self-driving vehicles in relation to accessibility, equity and improving traffic. In the frame of the @carmony project we will investigate in #luxembourg how connected, automated up to full self-driving vehicles can be used to improve the daily commute in a cross border setting from better regulating traffic flows up to providing data to the road authorities for improved traffic management.

Just like in other areas of our industry, airport parking is becoming more connected, more data-driven and more commercially complex. And that’s exactly what the #APNE2026 line-up is reflecting. With the addition of TKH Security | Park Assist, IDeaS Revenue Solutions, Flughafen Parken GmbH - Park.Aero, NetCeler and HUB Parking Technology, the conversations in London this November will go far beyond individual products. They will cover the full spectrum of modern airport parking challenges: • How do you guide vehicles more intelligently through busy airport environments? • How do you optimise pricing and revenue based on real demand? • How do you make airport parking easier to find, book and distribute? • How do you operate car parks more efficiently, even remotely? • And how do you connect all of this into one integrated system? This is what makes #AirportParkingNetworkEvent different. It’s not just a showcase of solutions, it’s where the operational, commercial and digital sides of airport parking come together in one place. For airport parking professionals, that means more focused conversations and more relevant comparisons. For solution providers, it means direct access to the people shaping those decisions. 📍 London, United Kingdom 📅 18–20 November 2026 Shape what comes next for airport parking with us.

Inside Tripy Mobility’s plans to bring robotaxis to Türkiye. Zag sits down with Ali Onuralp ÜNAL, Dr., CEO of the Turkish shared mobility operator which this week announced its entrance onto the AV scene. Tripy, which is predominantly known for its shared e-bike operations, now plans to begin robotaxi testing in Türkiye as early as this year, with Ankara as a possible starting point subject to approvals. The operator reports more than 100,000 hours of robotaxi road testing logged so far in China. “The launch of this process will depend on the completion of the necessary testing permissions from the relevant authorities and it is currently targeted to begin between the end of 2026 and sometime in 2027. As potential starting locations, major cities with advanced technological infrastructure, such as Ankara, are currently being prioritised for consideration,” Dr. Ünal told Zag Daily. #ZagConnected Read more: https://lnkd.in/eMSe_vBB

The pace of innovation in urban mobility is accelerating — but there's no single blueprint. Europe is doubling down on policy and multimodal integration. North America is chasing urban air mobility. Latin America leads on electric buses. Africa is modernising public transport. The Middle East is pioneering autonomous rides and air taxis. East Asia keeps pushing AI-enabled transport. Different starting points, same direction. The future won't be defined by one technology or one mode. It'll be defined by how well cities stitch public transport, emerging mobility and digital infrastructure into a single ecosystem. The emphasis is shifting — from building transport assets to designing connected systems. At ASCELA, we find it useful to step back and read these shifts together. Seeing how different regions tackle the same challenges helps us design more resilient, context-specific solutions for the cities of tomorrow. #UrbanMobility #SmartCities #SustainableMobility #FutureOfMobility #Infrastructure #ASCELA #TransformingTheTomorrow

Omio has agreed to acquire Rail Europe, a 90+ year old rail ticketing platform with deep ties to operators like Groupe SNCF, Eurostar, and Deutsche Bahn. Combined, they'll sell over 22 million train tickets a year across 70+ countries, making this Omio's third ground-transport acquisition after Rome2Rio and BusRadar. The bigger play: as AI agents move from suggesting trips to actually booking them, owning direct operator integrations becomes the real competitive edge. Ground transport has always been travel's messiest, most fragmented segment. Whoever consolidates it first wins the next era of booking. https://hubs.ly/Q04pLF3V0
