The NTD NGO Network (NNN) is inviting nominations for our new Vice Chair! This year I will be moving to the role of NNN Chair and this is an exciting opportunity to join the NNN leadership team as our new Vice Chair. I am deeply grateful to Unlimit Health for their continued support and encouragement to help me allocate time to the NNN, and I am thankful to Dorin Turgeman and Dr. Gilbert Baayenda MBA PhD for their mentorship and collaboration as part of the NNN leadership team. This has been a rich and rewarding role, deepening and widening NNN's membership base, supporting a new community of practise on integration, strengthening our collaboration platforms as part of the NNNs operational plan and of course more recently preparing for our annual conference in Kigali next month! Please feel free to get in touch directly if you are interested and would like to have an informal conversation.
NNN Vice Chair nominations are NOW OPEN! Standing as Vice Chair is an exciting and deeply rewarding way to help steer the only practitioner-led community of practice of its kind in the NTD ecosystem — a network built by and for the NGOs delivering NTD programmes. As Vice Chair you will: 🌟 Shape the network at a pivotal moment — helping lead delivery of the NNN Strategic Plan 2026–2030 and its four pillars. 🌟 Convene a network of networks — connecting disease-specific and cross-cutting groups across the community. 🌟 Amplify affected voices — ensuring people living with NTDs, smaller organisations and affected-country partners lead and are heard. 🌟 Turn country experience into influence — channelling real-world evidence into WHO guidance and national policy, and representing NNN externally. Along the way you will build relationships across civil society, UN agencies, ministries and industry — and grow as a global health leader. All nominees must be proposed through their NNN Member organization in writing, and be willing to stand for election. The candidate should have a mix of complementary skills, programmatic expertise and experience, and be in a position to dedicate sufficient time to the diverse and dynamic needs of a growing and ambitious network. https://lnkd.in/gyq6Q9ny
Wonderful! Lots of expectations from you Aparna! Best wishes for finding a great vice chair!
