The team at Sonder sat down with a close client yesterday, and it was a really good catch up. One thing that stood out was the importance of doing repeat work with the clients we work closely with. It resonated on both sides. The more we work together, the more we understand what type of lawyer fits, and the similarities between those lawyers across different practice areas. It also matters for the candidate. It allows us to position them properly and speak with more detail on culture and the small things inside the firm. For us, it is simple. We will not work with everyone, but with the clients we do, we focus on building strong relationships and delivering properly.

A law firm added one thing to their discovery calls and closed 42% more deals. They didn't change their pitch. They didn't hire a closer. They just started saying: "We solved a problem just like yours. Here, watch this." Then they sent the case story video. That's it. 42% more deals. #casestory #salestips #closemoredeals #videocasestory #discoverycall

I had the chance to go live with Dora Rankin today — and the conversation went exactly where the best ones do. We talked about the why behind what we do. Why we build the businesses we build. Why the work matters. And why showing up authentically — for ourselves and for our clients — is the real foundation everything else gets built on. Dora and I are both in the trenches with women entrepreneurs every day, just from different angles. Her angle is sales and strategy through her Heart Sell methodology. Mine is the legal and structural side. And what struck me in our conversation is how much of this overlaps — because a sales process built on integrity needs a legal foundation that protects the business creating it. I'm honored to be a Circle of Influence partner for Dora's Heart Sell Signature Summit, May 29–30 in Cleveland. It's an interactive, two-day experience for women who are ready to build sales and businesses that feel aligned, sustainable, and protected. You can watch our conversation below! "I don't know why you wouldn't use Definely." Walter Clark , Corporate M&A Partner at Pinsent Masons tells us how Definely helps him avoid contract rage. Lawyers shouldn't be spending their time manually cross-referencing clauses and chasing numbering. They should be concentrating on the issues that matter to clients. Definely removes the noise, and lets lawyers focus.

How you organize your exhibits could determine whether jurors ever find the document that wins your case. Meg Simonian makes her most important document Exhibit #1 — not the first chronologically, but the one that best explains what happened. Her strategy: keep exhibits lean, three-hole punch everything, and make sure jurors receive a neat binder while the defense hands over piles of paper. "The one document that matters to your argument is buried within a hundred, and it's unlikely the jurors are going to write that." Dillon & Findley Charla Aldous Eleanor Aldous Caleb M.
