Foundation Models are more powerful than they first appear... and this is my favorite example in Xarra! When importing blog posts, code blocks can be a problem for audio. Raw syntax read aloud might not be the most helpful. But with Foundation Models, Xarra generates a context-aware, plain-language explanation of each code block. Something you can actually listen to on the go. In this example, a Swift snippet using the Digital Crown API gets transformed into a clear description of what the code does, its parameters, and why they matter. No jargon. No noise. Just meaning. That's the untapped potential of on-device AI: not just summarization, but genuine understanding that makes content more accessible. #FoundationModels #Xarra #IndieApp

  • Four iPhone screenshots showing a workflow in Xarra: a blog post with a Swift code block is imported via the iOS Share Extension, the code is parsed into a editable structured "Code Block" view with language and an AI-generated plain-language explanation, and the result appears as audio-friendly text in a transcript view that highlights the text as it is being spoken out loud, demonstrating how Foundation Models convert technical code into listenable content.
