Team members from our Lafayette office had the privilege of attending a public outreach event on Tuesday evening, hosted by Lafayette Consolidated Government. During the event, our team engaged with community members to discuss the University Avenue Phase III project, for which DDG is providing surveying and civil engineering services. We are honored to contribute to another project that will enhance the spaces where we live, work, and play!
Last night, we shared updates on major improvements along the University Avenue corridor. Phase 1 of the $15.5 million project is underway and set to wrap up in summer 2026, with more than $20.5 million in additional phases ahead. Future work includes safer intersections, smoother pavement, upgraded sidewalks and drainage, and modernized traffic signals—all part of a long-term effort to improve safety, connectivity, and revitalization.
