In February, fairlife's Chief Science Officer, Dr. Shakeel Rehman, reflected on his lifelong connection to the dairy industry during the 2026 Dairy Products, Process & Packaging Innovation Conference. Dr. Shakeel's passion for the dairy industry began at just four years old, when he helped distribute cheese to neighbors in Kashmir using milk his family produced. These early experiences shaped his life’s mission to create more nutritious, better‑tasting milk. When asked about the future of dairy, Dr. Shakeel emphasized the importance of ongoing innovation and pushing toward the next frontier rather than remaining content with the status quo.
