🌍 Inclusion in the age of AI In Brussels, most workplaces already speak English — often mixed with IT jargon. But true inclusion is more than language. It’s about making technology ethical, accessible, and human-centred. #Inclusion #AI #Leadership #DigitalEthics

As we honored Indigenous Peoples’ Day, I found myself reflecting on how technology is shaping cultural narratives—and, too often, distorting them. In my latest article for Entrepreneur, I explore how AI is misrepresenting Indigenous identity and what this reveals about the urgent need for ethical, inclusive systems that protect, not erase, cultural truth. Technology should never rewrite identity—it should amplify truth, honor heritage, and reflect the full spectrum of our humanity. Let’s commit to designing innovation that uplifts rather than undermines. 🔗 Read the full article on Entrepreneur #EthicalAI #Inclusion #DEI #IndigenousPeoplesDay #AIandCulture #ResponsibleInnovation #Leadership #HumanizeWork https://lnkd.in/eK9b6Cqy

✨ 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗜 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 #𝟯 – 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗔𝗜 Yes, AI is powerful... but it’s not neutral! It mirrors us. It learns from our stories and our history... and that means it also carries forward our inequalities, stereotypes and blind spots. But I also see the bright side: with a little guidance, AI can also help us write better stories. Stories that break barriers, give space to underrepresented voices and open up knowledge to more people. 💡 Two quick tests you can try this week: 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 Ask your AI: “List 10 pioneers in [your field].” Then try again with: “List 10 pioneers in [your field], ensuring at gender balance, balanced representation from the Global South, and a mix of contemporary and historical figures.” The difference is often quite eye-opening. What feels “neutral” can in fact leave much of the world invisible, unless we ask differently. 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 Ask your AI image generator: “Generate a group portrait of eight professionals - lawyer, doctor, nurse, cleaner, politician, kindergarten teacher, astronaut, and AI expert.” Then try again with: “… portrayed without stereotypes or gender bias, with visible diversity in ethnicity, age, ability and appearance, in a neutral, respectful, realistic style.” Models today are already better than they used to be, thanks to fine-tuning. But I see they still need our guidance if we want full and fair representation. The clearest results come when we spell out what inclusion looks like. 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶-𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲 ✓ Check your defaults: Who is represented? Who is missing? ✓ Guide your prompts: Add phrases like “balanced representation,” “gender diversity,” “voices from the Global South,” “different age groups,”or “inclusive of people with disabilities.” ✓ Test for bias: Run the same query with different names, regions, or roles and compare results. I believe the real opportunity lies not in assuming AI is neutral but in shaping it deliberately to lower barriers and ✨ 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. 🎥 Video spark created with Gemini VEO3

Ignoring diverse voices doesn’t just silence people—it starves innovation. In community building, perspective isn’t decoration; it’s infrastructure. When marginalized experiences are filtered out, blind spots turn into failure modes: brittle strategy, shallow trust, outcomes nobody owns. My practice is inclusive dialogue, powered by AI as a microphone, not a megaphone. I use it to surface patterns (who speaks, who’s interrupted, whose ideas move forward), map participation across identity and role, and redesign the rituals—round-robin dialogue, story-first prompts, rotating facilitation, clear decision logs, consent-based proposals—so every voice has a path into action. If your community feels incomplete, start with three audits: who speaks, who decides, who benefits. Then build bridges where the gaps are. You matter. You make it happen. Where are the unheard voices in your community right now—and what’s one practice you’ll adopt this month to bring them in? #Leadership #CommunityBuilding #TechForGood #AI #Inclusion

AI won’t deliver value without trust. Building that trust starts with people: engaging employees, fostering healthy scepticism, and equipping teams with the skills to use AI responsibly. As AI reshapes business and society, we need to be inclusive and bring everyone on the journey. #AI #TrustInAI #FutureOfWork #Inclusion

When we began this report, we wanted to see whether industry professionals were considering inclusion—particularly gender balance—in AI adoption. Interestingly, many respondents believe AI will advance inclusion, but this will only happen if equity is built in from the start. Inclusion must be intentional, not passive. Read the report for our recommendations. Thanks to everyone who contributed Darren Willsher James Winters Katy J. and Toby Mildon #InclusionByDesign #InclusiveAIAdoption #GenderBalance

As AI transforms the workforce, a surprising new diversity measure emerges: human quotas. According to experts, leading economies will soon require a minimum level of human participation in key roles. This shift challenges organizations to rethink balance — not just between genders or backgrounds, but between humans and algorithms. How is your company preparing for this new era of workplace composition? #AI #HumanResources #FutureOfWork #Inclusion #Leadership https://lnkd.in/eMKh9gev
