We’re thrilled to collaborate with Brett Sherman from Machete Group and Cody Parsons from Diamond Baseball Holdings on the exciting Louisville Sports Entertainment District project at Slugger Field!
New renderings have been released for the multiuse development next to Louisville Slugger Field. 🎉 Louisville Sports Entertainment District will encompass a mix of office, retail, restaurant, hospitality, and entertainment uses under one roof. The $250 million development is a collaboration between Louisville Bats’ owner Diamond Baseball Holdings and Machete Group located at the city-owned parking lot east of the Louisville Slugger ballpark. The project is aimed at creating a vibrant and connected hub between Downtown, Butchertown, NuLu, and Waterfront Park while also spurring economic development in the area. The development plans include a seven-story apartment complex with 280 units and its own parking structure, a 10-story hotel with 170 rooms and restaurant space, a four-story office building, 22,000 square feet of first-floor retail space, and a 500+ parking garage serving both the stadium and the surrounding development.
Gresham Smith many thanks to your talented team for helping shape this important project for us, our partners at Diamond Baseball Holdings and Louisville Metro Government. More to come!
This looks like such a fun and vibrant addition to the district!! ✨
