Last July I got diagnosed with quite a few chronic illnesses and I had to like change my entire life around. Just been focusing on my health, going to different doctors, trying to figure out first what I have and 2nd what can help that. We first heard about hydration room because right around the time of Christmas last year I was in a really bad health spot and I was about to miss Christmas. And my cousin who lives in Tennessee, she goes and gets IV's regularly and she kept on bringing it up like I think you should try it, it would help because it really helps her. So I finally was like I think we should go. We called and got an appointment and met our very favorite nurse Kim. Hallie was so comfortable with her. But not yet comfortable with Ivs and other people doing them. She was just really nervous. And so Kim really made her feel heard. She really made the difference. It's made it so I don't have like this big anxiety around. Ivs or needles? What it meant for Hallie was that she was able to attend Christmas, which it doesn't seem like a big deal, but just walking from our house to her grandparent's house that she wouldn't have been able to do it. So meeting Kim and getting the IV meant that she was able to have dinner with us and it was really special. Shortly after we made another appointment and then the next week we made another appointment. Basically we go every single week and Halley's doctors are supportive of that. I know that I'm getting more hydration, which is really important for me because I'm in a constant state of dehydration. I get the fitness recovery, but sometimes I'll add in an anti-inflammatory. So being able to rely on the extra vitamins and hydration has been really. Helpful for me what we noticed in Hallie is that she had. More energy, she was able to be awake more and I think the experience that we had was that she was just up and herself and it made a real difference very quickly for her. Wellness is the little things and it's her being able to show up and be present and me being able to support that journey for her.
