The future of data centers isn’t just about capacity, it’s about intelligence.     As we navigate the complexities of AI-driven infrastructure, Senior Vice President, Advanced Facilities and Market Lead, AI Data Centers, Dana Tilley shares how #OurJacobs is using digital twins to create resilient, efficient and sustainable solutions.    This innovative approach allows stakeholders to visualize and optimize every aspect of their projects, meeting today’s demands while preparing for tomorrow’s challenges.    Read how in the latest #FutureFoundations piece: https://lnkd.in/eUG8MNp6     #ChallengeAccepted #SustainableInfrastructure #DigitalTwin #DataCenters

Great piece. The point about compressing six months of feasibility into weeks through digital twins is real, but I’d argue the bigger constraint isn’t the planning software, it’s the delivery model downstream. The GCs winning in this space are self-performing critical path scopes. When switchgear lead times stretch close to a year, controlling your own electrical and mechanical labor stops being a differentiator and starts being a prerequisite for staying on schedule.

How does a digital twin, which is a post construction task and asset aid planning infrastructure which is a pre construction task?or reduce water? isn't that a primarily thermodynamics and hydraulics problem engineered up front?or improve grid resilience? how is an electrical system outside a facility improved by a 3d scan of the facility? Can someone enlighten me, as i really like to know
