2025 was an exceptionally active and successful year for the Jefferies UK & Ireland Investment Banking team. We are proud to have delivered on a number of high-profile UK public M&A transactions and secured several flagship corporate broking mandates, reinforcing our position as a trusted partner to our clients. A defining theme last year was the unprecedented consolidation within the UK Investment Funds sector. Jefferies advised on the most significant transactions in this space – and in prior years – underscoring our market-leading expertise. We also saw a marked increase in competitive public offers. Jefferies acted on four of the six contested UK public bids in 2025, more than any other adviser, highlighting the strength and depth of our capabilities in complex situations. Our commitment to excellence continues to be recognised externally, with strong performance in the latest Extel rankings – a testament to the quality of our research and the depth of our client relationships. Corporate access remains a key differentiator for Jefferies, with robust engagement across investor events and bespoke management roadshows throughout the year.
