I'm blocking anyone who posts that "London is Broken". No it's not, you absolute muppet. It's the best city in the world. It's wonderfully alive. It's diverse. It's got the best and widest ranging food scene in the world. Genuinely tell me another city where you can get food from every other country in the world. I buy my samosas from Hounslow, go to the Korean supermarket in New Malden. My favourite shop is Al Nour in Whitton where I live. It's run by Afghans. Friendly, lovely Afghans. The best kebab shop in the world is Twickenham Charcoal Grill. Turkish. We have incredible parks. The theatre scene is unbeatable. The sport, always sold out. The public transport even usually works! And the rich history, nestled next to skyscrapers Yeah we don't say hello to strangers on the tube, as we are not weirdos. It's not broken. You are broken for suggesting it is. It's the best.
Best city in the world? Just no.
Walk down Victoria Street from Victoria Station to Westminster and then say London isnt broken - that area has become a cesspit to rival parts of the Tenderloin. Parts of London are a disgrace.
The Northern Line this week is making me have doubts..
You could be describing basically every major city in the UK aside from maybe the skyline. Hell even small cities like Bristol have food from a large range of cultures

London is on the verge of being broken. It doesn’t take away the fact there’s lots of great things to do here, we have great history, food scene, art, beautiful green country side, BUT it’s getting more and more dangerous, Russian roulette wearing a nice watch in London now, and financially the tax is becoming prohibitive, and it’s only going to get worse. London as a city is great, how it’s being run and taxed is the biggest evolving issue.

London also has the world’s most expensive public transport, one of the highest costs of living in Europe, and is among the most overpopulated cities on the continent. Knife crime is at shocking levels: 188 incidents per 100,000 people. Insolvencies have reached a 30-year high, meaning more businesses have closed this year than at any point in the past three decades, and there have been some rough times along the way. That alone should highlight how badly the city is being run. I’m only scratching the surface here, but I could genuinely talk for weeks about how opportunity has been stripped from London. Go buy a beer or a coffee from a local shop and compare it to just three years ago. The difference is staggering. I honestly struggle to understand how anyone can say the city is in a good place right now. Are you Sadiq’s mate or something?
