For a national bank, decentralized security is a liability. Managing high-value assets across hundreds of sites requires more than local presence. M1 Global replaces fragmented reporting with centralized oversight. Our proprietary Fusion Centers connect every post, person, and perimeter to a single command layer, in real time. Powered by the AURIX™ platform, we provide banking leadership with a "single pane of glass" view into operational consistency, compliance, and coverage across their entire footprint. When the system is synced, the response is immediate. We eliminate the lag between a site-level event and an enterprise-level resolution, ensuring that standards remain high and risks remain low, no matter how many miles are between. Security at scale. Resilience through connection. #M1Global #EnterpriseSecurity #RiskManagement #SecurityOperations #PhysicalSecurity

Resilient digital asset infrastructure starts with a simple reality: something will fail. ⛔️ A signer may be compromised. ⛔️ A workflow may break. ⛔️ A human may make the wrong call under pressure. The strongest custody systems are designed around that reality. That means limiting blast radius before an incident happens, using threshold-based approvals so no single signer can move assets alone, gating recovery through policy instead of panic, separating emergency authority across defined roles, and escalating controls when abnormal activity appears. These are the core principles of resilient digital asset infrastructure. Prevention still matters, but institutions need more than barriers. They need systems that can absorb pressure, contain damage, and recover with control. Shankar Narayana Damodaran, CipherBC's Infrastructure Resilience Lead, breaks down each of these principles in our newsletter, with practical examples that reframe how institutions should think about custody risk. New technologies can bring new opportunities, but they also could bring new risks. Becoming quantum safe isn't just about implementing resilience inside your own organization; it requires collaboration. From financial institutions to government and regulatory agencies, the transition to quantum security is a massive group effort. FCAT's Michael Dascal explains how stakeholders are coming together to tackle the challenge. #QuantumSecurity #RiskManagement #FinTech #Collaboration #CyberResilience

When an institutional client reviews custody infrastructure, the question is whether the controls running inside the system match the documentation. That gap between what is written and what is running is where trust is tested before a single asset moves. This week’s CipherBC Perspectives features Leo Chen, CipherBC’s Director of Security Engineering. Leo brings that standard to every engineering decision at CipherBC. His work spans security architecture, product verification, system hardening, and the translation of research-level work into production infrastructure that can withstand independent review. For banks, exchanges, funds, and regulated businesses, trust has to be visible in the control design, approval records, signing logic, access boundaries, and audit trail. Systems that hold up under audit are built through engineering discipline from the start. And as digital assets move deeper into institutional workflows, custody infrastructure has to stand up to internal risk reviews, regulatory scrutiny, the audit room, and the attacks it was built to resist. Follow CipherBC and get to know the people behind our team as we build the next chapter of digital asset custody infrastructure. #InstitutionalCrypto #DigitalAssetCustody #CryptoSecurity #CipherBCPerspectives #BlockchainInfrastructure

Custodians are facing a structural problem that most of the industry hasn’t fully acknowledged yet: Cryptographic dependency risk. Today, the security of billions in digital assets is effectively outsourced to protocol-level decisions: • One cryptographic standard • A limited upgrade path • Protocol-level governance constraints This creates a critical mismatch. Custodians are expected to: • Meet regulatory requirements • Pass audits • Manage risk exposure But they do not control the underlying cryptographic model. That’s a governance gap. And in a post-quantum context, it becomes a liability. QFlex introduces a different model, one aligned with how custodians actually operate: Enables transaction-level cryptographic control. This allows: • Policy-driven algorithm selection • Jurisdiction-specific compliance enforcement • Risk-adjusted security per asset class Without: • Waiting for protocol upgrades • Coordinating across ecosystems • Accepting one-size-fits-all standards This isn’t just a technical improvement. It’s a shift toward institutional-grade cryptographic governance. Because custody isn’t just about holding assets. It’s about controlling how those assets are protected at every point in time. #DigitalAssets #InstitutionalCrypto

Liveness checks are no longer optional when fraud tactics keep evolving. If your onboarding flow still relies on static verification alone, you’re leaving room for spoofing, impersonation, and avoidable risk. For fintech teams, liveness detection helps you confirm that real users are behind every verification attempt, strengthening trust, reducing fraud exposure, and protecting your platform at scale. We broke down why this layer matters more than ever for modern fintech. Read the full guide here: https://lnkd.in/e4JpGDUb
