Naval Education and Training Command officially kicks off the annual Sailor of the Year event. Today, NETC Commander Rear Adm. Greg Huffman welcomed NETC's FY 2025 Sailor of the Year finalists to headquarters, sitting down with each of them as they arrived in Pensacola for a week of engagements across the NETC enterprise. The four finalists were selected from NETC's major subordinate commands — chosen on sustained superior performance, leadership, self-improvement, and command and community involvement. They represent the very best of the Navy's largest shore command. Throughout the week they'll tour training facilities, meet with NETC leadership, and stand alongside the Sailors and shipmates whose support put them here.
