Being a woman, a mother, and a leader in recovery means carrying my past with honesty while standing firmly in my present with gratitude. After beginning my recovery journey on April 15, 2007, I’ve rebuilt my life, earned my degree, restored my relationships with my children and family, and discovered that healing is not only possible, but powerful. I could not think of anything else I would rather do, than to be a part of the recovery of others. Here is my family, some of them I lost in my addiction. Now we cherish the memories we share together every year.
