Sara Siegel’s Post

I've now published the first 4 posts of my newsletter. ✨ I started a newsletter a few months ago to give myself a reason to write about the issues I think about most: how health systems work, and how technology is changing them. It's called Health Care for the Future. So far I've written about: (1) What the world's highest-performing health care systems have in common (and why so many of them happen to be small countries). (2) Why the most common failure mode in health care AI has less to do with the algorithm than with the system around it. (3) Why some problems can't be solved at the national level, and what happens when global institutions step back. (4) Why so-called "rare" diseases aren't actually rare, and what "one size fits one" medicine would require us to build. If those are questions you're thinking about too, come read along. 👉 https://lnkd.in/eu7mTYBF
