🚨 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟴–𝟮𝟬𝟯𝟰) The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the future framework for Joint Undertakings (JUs). 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗝𝗨 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 — public authorities, industry, SMEs, start-ups, research organisations, universities and policy actors — 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀. The consultation will feed into the upcoming 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 and the future design of Treaty-based European Partnerships, with the aim of making them more strategic, coherent and impactful across the entire innovation chain. 🎯 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼: gather evidence, experience and views from stakeholders on the role and functioning of Treaty-based European Partnerships under Horizon Europe; collect suggestions on how Joint Undertakings could be improved to strengthen the EU’s competitiveness.
