Tobias Erckrath’s Post

#IEEtalksGFM 🌍 Valuable discussions and meaningful insights into the future of power systems! This week, we had the pleasure of hosting a workshop on Technologies of Grid-Forming Control approaches at Fraunhofer IEE as part of the ETG Congress #ETG2025. 🔌 The event brought together experts from industry and academia to explore the latest developments in grid-forming technologies and to exchange ideas on how we can collaboratively shape resilient and sustainable energy systems. 💡 One of the highlights was a live demonstration using our #RICOSO system, showcasing how Rapid Control Prototyping (#RCP) in combination with Power Hardware-in-the-Loop (#PHiL) enables an efficient and hands-on approach to validating power converter controls — from initial concept to lab validation. These tools significantly support and accelerate development processes for converter based applications. 📊 The slide in the background illustrates the impact of our current limiting method #SelfLim for grid-forming converters during a phase angle jump. 📄 Read more in our publication: doi: 10.1109/ECCE50734.2022.9947810 If you're interested in learning more, feel free to reach out — I’m always happy to connect and exchange ideas! 🙏 Many thanks to all participants for the valuable input and great discussions during the workshop. #GridForming #RICOSO #RCP #PHIL #PowerSystems #FraunhoferIEE #EnergyTransition #ETG2025 #PowerElectronics #Innovation #Collaboration

Tobias Erckrath thank you for your information. May I know where I can buy the 90kVA grid forming inverter? Or what is the brand of the 90kVA grid forming inverter?

Sounds really insightful, Tobias
