The Final Prospective Workshop of the European Space Transportation HUB took place on 2 July 2026, marking the conclusion of the collaborative study conducted over the previous months. Led by Comptoir Prospectiviste | Stratégie et sociologie prospectives, the session brought HUB members together in a renewed and interactive format, designed to consolidate the reflections developed throughout the study and transform them into concrete conclusions for the future of the European space transportation ecosystem. Held exclusively in person, the workshop offered participants the opportunity to exchange directly, select and question future initiatives proposed during the session, refining the collective vision emerging from the study over three different themes (ground, orbital infrastructures and AI). This setting encouraged open discussion and helped ensure that the final outputs reflected the diversity of perspectives, priorities, and strategic concerns shared by the HUB community. The main results and takeaways from the study will be shared during the next General Assembly. In the meantime, a preliminary version of the findings was already presented during the ★ Les Assises du NewSpace ★.

For the first time, the European Space Transportation HUB, powered by CNES and European Space Agency - ESA, took part in ★ Les Assises du NewSpace ★. The HUB ran the entire afternoon of Wednesday 8 July, a demanding slot, closing out the event with a highly attended session in the Louis Armand East auditorium. The session brought together ESA, CNES and Hub members to showcase the momentum building across Europe’s space transportation ecosystem. The programme featured pitches of key technologies and services from AGENA SPACE, deltaVision - fluid control & aerospace, Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA, SSC Space and AndroMach working on green propulsion, fluid control, launch infrastructure, orbital access and reusable launch systems, underlining the diversity and industrial strength of the Hub community. The session also looked ahead to Europe’s future in space transportation, with RIDE!’s white paper on agile launch services, as well as the final results of the prospective studies led by Comptoir Prospectiviste | Stratégie et sociologie prospectives exploring 2036 scenarios around shared ground infrastructure, in-orbit logistics and sovereign AI. A real success, and one we owe above all to the Hubbers' involvement: thank you to everyone who pitched, debated, moderated the discussions or simply made the trip. 🚀 Clap de fin pour cette 5ᵉ édition des Assises du NewSpace ! Pendant deux jours, les équipes du #CNES et de Connect by CNES sont allées à la rencontre de celles et ceux qui font vivre l'écosystème spatial français et européen. Cette deuxième journée a notamment été marquée par plusieurs temps forts : 👩🚀 Un Fireside Chat "Femmes du spatial", animé par Meddi Moumouni (SpaceShip FR, CNES), avec Angélique Gaudel (CNES) et Ane Aanesland, autour de parcours inspirants et de la place des femmes dans les métiers du spatial. 🔬 Une table ronde consacrée à la micropesanteur, réunissant Frédéric Gai (Novespace), Audrey Berthier (MEDES - Institute for Space Medicine and Physiology), Pierre Costes (ATMOS Space Cargo) et Sylvain Bataillard (HyPrSpace), autour des perspectives scientifiques et industrielles de l'après-ISS. 🚀 L'après-midi s'est poursuivi avec un temps fort consacré au Space Transportation Hub, initiative portée par le CNES et l'ESA European Space Agency - ESA, présenté par Titouan R., aux côtés de Florian GUILLEZ et Ignacio Del Campo Sánchez, avant des pitches d'entreprises et des échanges sur les services et les futurs usages du transport spatial. 💻 Les Space Data Centers étaient également au cœur des discussions avec notamment Emeric Lhomme (ALATYR), ainsi que la souveraineté spatiale avec des interventions de Céline Tison (CNES), UNIVITY, SATLANTIS et de nombreux acteurs européens. 🎥 Enfin, ces Assises ont aussi été l'occasion de partir à la rencontre des entreprises accompagnées par Connect by CNES. Nous avons eu le plaisir d'échanger avec #Satlantis, #Univity, i-Sea, Dawn Aerospace, #Alatyr et #HyPrSpace. Leurs témoignages seront à découvrir très prochainement sur nos réseaux. Au-delà des conférences, ces deux journées ont confirmé la vitalité d'un écosystème où startups, industriels, centres de recherche, investisseurs et institutions travaillent désormais ensemble pour accélérer l'innovation et faire émerger les solutions spatiales de demain.
