If you want recruiters, clients, and industry leaders to notice you, here are 5 daily LinkedIn habits that will change your career: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹 (𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 > 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) 📍Instead of mindlessly scrolling, drop insightful comments on 5 industry-relevant posts daily. 📍Not “Great post!” but actual value. 📍Why? Comments are more powerful than posts—they push you into new networks without an algorithmic struggle. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀) Send 2 meaningful connection requests daily—but personalize them. Example: ❌ “Hi, I’d like to add you to my network.” ✅ “Hey [Name], loved your take on [Topic]—would love to stay connected and exchange insights.” The difference? One is forgettable, the other builds relationships. 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝘅 𝗮 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗜𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝘆) 📍Your career lessons. 📍A challenge you faced and solved. 📍An industry trend and your take on it. 📍No need for perfection—people connect with authenticity. 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗠𝘀 (𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗡𝗼 “𝗛𝗶, 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻?”) Instead of cold messages asking for a job, start conversations. Example DM to a recruiter: “Hey [Name], I saw your company is growing in [Industry]. I’ve been working in this space and would love to share insights. Open to a quick chat?” Notice the shift? You’re offering value, not just asking for favors. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂 If someone interacts with your post or profile multiple times, that’s a signal. Don’t let it go to waste—reach out, start a conversation. 💡 Small habits → Big results. Most people use LinkedIn as a job board. The smart ones use it as a networking machine. #CareerGrowth #LinkedInTips #Networking

Making a career pivot is an exciting challenge—but it can also feel daunting. One of the most critical steps is redefining your accomplishments to align with your new path. Here's how to craft a compelling narrative that resonates in interviews and on your resume: ❓ Start with the "Why": Be prepared to explain the reason behind your pivot in a networking conversation or interview. Is it a new passion, market opportunity, or a natural extension of your skills? A clear "why" shows intentionality and vision. 👊 Translate Your Impact: Frame past achievements in a way that highlights universal skills—leadership, strategy, problem-solving, and measurable results. For example: 🔑 Instead of "Increased market share by 20% in consumer goods," try "Led strategic growth initiatives, driving a 20% market share increase" 📈 Quantify Whenever Possible: Numbers don’t lie, and they build credibility. Be sure to share metrics that illustrate the scale and results of your contributions in a way that relates to the reader/interviewer. 🌉 Bridge the Gap: Connect past experience with the needs of your target industry or role. Identify transferable skills and explain how they solve pain points in the new context. 💪 Showcase Adaptability: Highlight moments when you’ve successfully embraced change, taken calculated risks, or learned new skills. This demonstrates you're not just capable of pivoting—you thrive on it. A pivot doesn’t mean starting from scratch; it’s about showing how your expertise evolves into a new chapter. Thoughtfully positioning your accomplishments will not only help you land the role but also ensure others see the value you bring to the table. What strategies have worked for you in defining accomplishments during a career shift? Share your insights below! 👇 #ExecutiveCareerPivot #Leadership #CareerGrowth #PersonalBranding #Careers

Seasoned professionals often struggle with personal branding because traditional advice focuses on building visibility rather than leveraging existing authority and expertise. The most effective branding strategies for experienced professionals emphasize thought leadership and industry wisdom rather than personal promotion or trend-following. Key platforms and approaches that work: Professional publishing through platforms like Medium allows you to share insights and frameworks developed through decades of experience. Speaking opportunities and podcast appearances position you as an industry authority and provide content that can be repurposed across multiple channels. Board-ready profile development opens doors to governance opportunities while demonstrating executive-level thinking. Alumni network activation leverages existing relationships built throughout your career trajectory. Industry association leadership roles provide visibility within your professional community while contributing meaningful value. Mentorship program participation allows you to monetize your experience while building relationships with emerging leaders. The goal isn't to compete with younger professionals on energy or trend awareness - it's to demonstrate the strategic thinking and problem-solving capability that only comes through extensive experience. Your decades of experience represent unique intellectual property. The challenge is packaging and presenting that knowledge effectively. If you over-curate & overthink your personal brand to perfection, your engagement will be dead! You see them everywhere—polished, poised, and perfectly positioned personal brands. Yet, their engagement is flat. Their audience? Passive. This is the"Perfect Persona" Effect—where people curate an online brand so flawlessly that it becomes unrelatable. And science backs this up. 📌 A study from Harvard Business Review found that leaders who share their struggles increase trust by 66% compared to those who only share polished success. 📌 Social psychologist Dr. Elliot Aronson’s "Pratfall Effect" proves that people perceive those who show vulnerability as more likable than those who appear perfect. The brands that win aren’t the ones that look flawless. They’re the ones that feel real. This is how we work this out with SackBerry clients: 1. Show the process, not just the results. ❌ “We grew our business 10x in a year!” ✅ “We struggled for months with zero sales—here’s what finally worked.” People relate to struggles, lessons, and real journeys. Share the how, not just the highlight. 2. Write like you talk. The easiest way to sound human? Read your post out loud. If you wouldn’t say it in a conversation, rewrite it. 3. Share your unpopular opinions. The fastest way to stand out isn’t to blend in. Take a stance. Challenge industry clichés. Say what others won’t. 4. Use the “3-Post Rule” to create trust. Your content should rotate between these formats: A personal story (human connection) An actionable insight (expert credibility) A polarizing take (sparks discussion) 5. Don’t fear the “mess.” -Not every post needs to be perfect. - Test new ideas. - Share drafts. - Build in public. People love watching something unfold in real time. So, tell me—what’s one thing you wish more people shared online? #PersonalBranding #Authenticity #BuildingInPublic #ContentMarketing

Stop Asking How to Maintain Your Network!!! Ask Yourself: "How Do I Become So Unforgettable That People Remember Me?" 1/ Abandon the relationship maintenance myth. Most people think networking success comes from staying in touch with everyone, updating CRMs, and constantly following up. But successful people prove there's a better way. 2/ Build your personal brand foundation. Post on LinkedIn once a day in 2025 - a personal brand is the single greatest investment you can make for becoming memorable. 3/ Host regular industry gatherings. Organize something once a quarter for people in your field - it can literally be a six-person reservation at a wine bar where everyone splits the bill. 4/ Give value before you need anything. Whenever you meet someone new, immediately think of one thing you can offer that would help their career - introductions, resources, or event invitations. 5/ Understand the real networking difference. Success isn't about maintaining hundreds of shallow connections. It's about becoming the person others naturally want to stay connected with. 6/ Implement the "give first" strategy. Focus on being helpful and memorable rather than asking for favors. Watch how you become the first person they think of when opportunities arise - without ever having to ask.

Building authority isn't about power suits. It's about intentional personal branding. Today, your personal brand extends far beyond your physical appearance.  Your actions, words, and online presence shape how others perceive you professionally. Here's what I've learned about crafting a powerful leadership presence for my clients: 1. Authenticity wins over perfection • Be genuine in your interactions • Share your unique perspectives and experiences • Embrace your strengths and acknowledge areas for growth 2. Your story is your backbone • Craft a driving narrative that highlights your journey • Use storytelling to connect with your audience emotionally • Showcase how your experiences have shaped your leadership style 3. Consistency guarantees trust • Maintain a cohesive tone for all posts • Regularly engage with your network and share insights • Align your online presence with your in-person interactions 4. Value-driven content opens doors • Share knowledge that genuinely helps your audience • Create content that addresses industry pain points • Offer actionable advice based on your expertise 5. Engagement is a two-way street • Actively listen and respond to comments on your posts • Celebrate others' achievements and appreciate them • Participate in meaningful discussions within your industry Remember, Your brand is what people say when you're not in the room (I know it’s cliched, but it’s true). Make it count by being intentional about every interaction, post, and professional decision. 📌BONUS • Audit your LinkedIn profile for consistency • Seek feedback from trusted mentors or creators • Identify thought leaders in your field and analyze their branding strategies • Commit to sharing valuable insights regularly • Invest in upskilling to stay updated in your industry P.S. What's one intentional step you're taking to build your thought leadership today? #thoughtleadership #personalbranding #linkedinforcreators #authenticity
