You can’t get a job in the UAE without UAE experience. You’ve heard it. Everyone repeats it. But here’s the truth. Thousands of people get hired every single week WITHOUT UAE experience. The problem isn’t your background… It’s how you’re positioning yourself for the UAE market. I’m saying this based on my experience working with: • Fresh graduates • Newcomers relocating to the UAE • Professionals switching careers I’ve helped hundreds of candidates land interviews and offers — without prior UAE experience — simply by restructuring their strategy. Here’s what actually works: 1. Stop applying for mid-level roles you can’t win yet Freshers often apply to roles asking for 3–5 years of experience. You’re competing with seniors. Start with: • Graduate programs • Entry-level coordinator roles • Assistant roles • Trainee / internship programs The title doesn’t matter. The entry does. 3. Build “UAE relevance” without living or working here You can add: • Online volunteering with UAE NGOs • Remote freelance tasks • Short UAE-based certifications • Personal projects related to your field My clients who added just one of these saw a huge increase in callbacks. 4. Fix your CV title — it’s the #1 reason people get ignored Your title must match the UAE market, not your degree. Examples: ❌ “Business Graduate” ✅ “Junior HR Coordinator | Admin Support | Talent Assistant” This alone has helped many candidates move from ignored to shortlisted. 4. Highlight real transferable skills UAE recruiters hire for: • Soft skills • Customer experience • Communication • Microsoft Office • CRM exposure • Teamwork • Problem-solving Freshers underestimate how valuable these are. 5. Apply early — the UAE moves FAST A job post can receive 300+ applicants in one hour. If you apply late, you’re invisible. 6. Use networking properly Not “Hi sir, any vacancy?” But meaningful engagement: • Comment on posts • Add insights • Connect with HR politely • Ask smart questions Many of my clients got interviews because they showed up consistently. 7. Your first job is your ticket — not your destination Once you get 6–12 months of UAE experience, you can grow extremely fast. Many of my clients doubled their salaries within a year. 8. Be Proactive One of the strongest ways to stand out — even as a fresher — is to show initiative. Before applying: • Study the company • Spot one small problem or improvement area (customer journey, service gaps, communication, content, process…) • Suggest a simple, realistic solution in your cover letter or during the interview You don’t need to be an expert. Companies hire people who think, observe, solve, and take initiative — not people who wait for instructions. This level of proactivity instantly makes you memorable. #UAEJobs #DubaiJobs #UAEHiring #CareerAdvice #JobSearchUAE #FreshersUAE #CareerCoach #DubaiCareers #LinkedInTips #JobSearchTips

If you're job hunting in Dubai right now, stop applying on portals. Here's what actually works: Identify 20 target companies — not 200. Focus beats volume. Find the hiring manager on LinkedIn — not HR. The decision maker matters more. Engage with their content for 1 week — genuine comments, not "great post!" Send a DM — not a CV. Say: "I've been following your work at [company]. I have a background in X and would love to understand if there's alignment. Open to a 15-minute call?" Follow up once, politely. Persistence is good. Pressure is not. The hidden job market in Dubai is real. Most roles are filled before they're ever posted. Your network is your net worth, especially here! Know someone struggling to find a job in Dubai? Send them this.

2 months of searching, 11 interview invitations, 8 first interviews, 5 final rounds, 4 offers. 1 job accepted. Before landing my job, I spent around two months actively job hunting in the UAE (Dubai & Abu Dhabi). As someone who has been living in Dubai for the past few months, I want to share some insights and tips for those navigating the job market in the #UAE: There's no magic formula, but here’s what worked for me: 🔹 LinkedIn Easy Apply: Everyone says it doesn’t work, but it does! I landed 2 interviews this way. The key? Choosing the right jobs and applying strategically, do not apply because you want to apply. 🔹 Referrals: This is the real game-changer! Two of my offers came through referrals. If you know someone in the company, don’t hesitate to reach out. 🔹 Reaching out directly: I messaged hiring managers on LinkedIn, highlighting how my skills and experience matched their roles. This approach got me 3 interview invitations. Taking the initiative can make a huge difference! 🔹 Career websites: The rest of my interviews came from simply applying through company career portals. It’s a numbers game, so keep applying! The job market here is highly competitive. Many talented candidates are applying for the same roles. A rejection doesn’t mean you’re not good enough, it just means someone else was a better fit. And that’s okay. To wrap up: Apply, apply, apply! Use different strategies, reach out if you believe you're the right fit, and most importantly, don’t give up. 💡 Keep pushing. Keep applying. Keep improving. #jobhunt #dubai #storytelling #job

When I started applying in UAE, I faced complete silence — no replies, no calls. Until I changed my approach which helped me get multiple calls within 30 days of being here. If you’re applying endlessly on job portals and still getting 0 replies, read this before you give up. 1. Don’t just apply on job portals Most vacancies are never posted online. What made the difference? — I started personally reaching out to HRs, CFOs, Finance Controllers & Talent Acquisition Heads on LinkedIn for the companies I was targeting. That’s how real conversations start. 2. Build a local LinkedIn network If you’re targeting the UAE, connect with UAE-based professionals. Your feed will start showing relevant job posts and company updates. Use Google to list top companies in that country or city, then connect with people working there. 3. Apply everywhere (smartly) Use all major job apps and even consider taking premium versions of 2–3 platforms. Visibility matters — especially in competitive markets. 4. Stay active on LinkedIn Don’t just apply silently. Start sharing posts, updates, and even your job search journey. An active profile signals recruiters that you’re serious and engaged. 5. Use a local contact number in your CV If you’re applying for UAE roles, mention a UAE number. Many recruiters filter out international numbers — I’ve personally seen this matter. 6. Keep circulating your CV Share it with people, recruiters, and even peers. The more you engage, the more likely someone will refer or reach out directly. 7. Quality > Quantity in applications If you’re applying for 10 jobs a day — pick 2 you really want. Spend time writing the right cover letter (AI can help!). And if the job description has an email ID, don’t rely only on “Easy Apply.” Email them. It often gets better responses. Final Thought: Your job search is not a numbers game — it’s a connection game. Right people + right positioning = right opportunity. If this helped, please share it — it might reach someone who’s been struggling silently in their job search journey 💪 #JobSearch #UAEJobs #CareerTips #LinkedInTips #JobHunt #FinanceJobs

How I Got 4 Interviews in 1 Week After Moving to the UAE — With Zero Gulf Experience. When I arrived in the UAE, the first thing I heard was: “No Gulf experience? You won’t get hired.” It was disheartening and very tough. But I got to work and changed my whole approach. Here’s what I actively did: 1-I rewrote my CV and LinkedIn to focus on impact — real results I delivered, not just tasks I handled. 2- I started engaging with recruiters and TA leaders consistently — adding thoughtful comments to their posts, not just sending cold messages. 3- I stopped talking about needing a job and started showing what I bring to the table.. 4- I shared my career journey — how I faced challenges and grew by working in different regions. 5- I highlighted my international experience, and explained why it matters — that value isn’t limited to one region. 6- I researched UAE salaries and expenses, so I could speak confidently during interviews. 7- I showed up every single day — applying, learning, staying visible and engaged. 8- I customized every single application to match the role — no generic copy-paste. The result? 4 interviews in one week — not because I had local experience, but because I changed how I presented my value. To anyone going through this: I hope this post helps you! I know it’s tough, but it’s possible. Be consistent. Be strategic. And most importantly, be clear about your worth. Yes, you're starting over. But you're starting from everything you've built. #networking #strategicapproach #jobhunt #UAE #Exploring #motivating #realexperience #hrs #jobseekers

"How do we plan to give Dubai job interviews while working in India?" One of my connections asked me about it but here’s what actually worked for a lot of applicants: 1. 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 8 𝐀𝐌–11 𝐀𝐌 𝐔𝐀𝐄 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. HRs are most active early in the day — your resume stays on top. Even better, apply Sunday–Wednesday. Thursday is their Friday. 2. 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐀𝐄 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭. Mention experience in: — ERP systems like SAP/Oracle — Tax/VAT exposure — Cross-functional collaboration Avoid jargon-heavy Indian terms, keep it crisp, global. 3. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐦. Don’t say “Please check my resume.” Instead say: “I noticed you're hiring for [role]. I’ve worked on similar projects and would love to contribute. Can I share something specific?” Make it easy for them to say YES. 4. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐙𝐨𝐨𝐦. Interviews are often virtual — no room for fluff. Frame it like: “I am currently in India, but available to relocate immediately. Here’s what I bring to the table...” Confidence in clarity wins. 5. 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. If you are open to job-seeking visa and then switching to an employment visa. Companies want proactive people, not passengers waiting at the terminal. And finally: Apply where you are most needed, not just where you want to be. Dubai has roles in shipping, logistics, real estate, retail, healthcare, find your fit, not just the big-name job boards. When I worked in London, almost everything was recruiter focused. Every role. Every shortlist. Every process. But here in the UAE & KSA? It’s different. Many of the best roles never hit LinkedIn or get passed to agencies. That’s why: ✅ If you’re waiting for recruiters to bring you options, you’ll miss half the market ✅ If you’re only applying to adverts, you’ll always be competing with hundreds of others The smartest candidates do this instead: 🎯 Pick 10 companies that fit your background 📩 Reach out directly to hiring managers or department heads 💬 Position yourself as someone they’ll remember when the need comes up Recruiters can help but don’t rely on them to build your career here. In this market, the people who go direct are the ones who get ahead. #JobHunting #CareerAdvice #MiddleEast
