I Teach People How To Land Amazing Jobs Without Applying Online // Ready To Land A Great Role 2x Faster (With A $44K+ Raise)? Head To 👉 CultivatedCulture.com/Coaching

I’ve reviewed 1,000+ LinkedIn profiles over the past 5 years. Here are 8 tips to turn your LinkedIn profile into a job-generating machine: 1. Upgrade Your Profile Picture Like it or not, your profile picture is your first impression. Make it a good one: - Upload your PP to Photofeeler .com - Analyze the feedback - Reshoot/edit your picture based on the data Repeat until your scores are good! 2. Leverage Keywords The right keywords help you show up in more searches. Here's how to find them: - Find 5+ job descriptions for target roles - Paste them all into ResyMatch.io's JD scanner - Save the top 15 skills Weave them into the rest of your profile! 3. Write A Killer Headline I like to use this headline formula: [Keywords] | [Skills] | [Results-Focused Value Proposition] Example for a data scientist: Data Scientist | Python, R, Tableau | I Help Hospitals Use Big Data To Reduce Readmission Rates By 37% 4. Write A Killer About A great About section has 3 parts: - A short paragraph that speaks to your job, years of experience, and value prop. - Five "case study" bullets that showcase specific results. - Your email w/ a CTA for people to connect with you. Include keywords! 5. Leverage Your Featured Section It’s hard to convey your value on a resume or in an About section. This is your chance to show people what you’ve done on your terms. Include things like: - Case studies of your work - Content you’ve created - Posts you’ve written 6. Skills Matter LinkedIn uses profile Skills sections to rank candidates. Here’s how to boost your rank: - Add every keyword from your ResyMatch scan - Choose the top 5 most relevant skills - Ask colleagues, friends, family, & classmates for endorsements (aim for 5) 7. Engage & Support Others Comments can generate tons of profile views! Here’s how: - Find 10+ thought leaders in your target space - Bookmark their post feed - Check their feeds daily - Leave a supportive, valuable comment on each new post Repeat for a minimum of 30 days 8. Create Content! Content is networking at scale. One post can reach more people than your entire connection base. It also allows you to showcase value in your own words, on your own terms. It can feel scary, but only 1% of people do it—and the returns are huge.

There was a time when I thought— “If everything is going well in my job, why prepare for interviews?” Good salary, decent work, no pressure to switch. So I stopped applying, stopped giving interviews, and even stopped updating my resume. But the current market situation and wave of layoffs are honestly scary. And leave aside layoffs for a moment—I've seen many people who stayed in the same organization for years just because they were in a comfort zone. Over time, it slowed down their career growth and even affected their financial growth. To avoid being stuck in such situations, I’m sharing what I’ve learned over time. You don’t prepare when you need to switch: ✅ Update your resume every 2–3 months You don’t need big achievements to update. Even adding a small project, new tool, or result makes your profile stronger over time. ✅ Give 1–2 interviews occasionally This helps you stay in touch with interview formats, new types of questions, and builds confidence for when you really need it. ✅ Brush up your core tools Whether it’s SQL, Python, Excel, Power BI, or business case thinking—give it regular time, even if it's just a few hours per week. ✅ Observe the market Go through job descriptions once in a while. What new tools or skills are companies expecting now that they weren’t a year ago? ✅ Maintain visibility on LinkedIn You don’t need to post every day. But engaging with useful content or sharing what you’re learning goes a long way in staying relevant. The goal isn’t to switch often. The goal is to never panic when a sudden switch becomes necessary. Stay ready, stay sharp. Your future self will thank you!

Your LinkedIn headline is one of the first things a recruiter reads about you. More than that, though, it’s an important part of search results. When a company uses LinkedIn Recruiter to search for candidates, the information in your profile’s headline weighs heavily in search results. Optimizing your headline is like optimizing your entire profile for better placement results when recruiters run a search. My favorite formula for a LinkedIn profile headline is: TARGET JOB TITLE | 3 HIGH-PRIORITY SKILLS | PERSONAL BRANDING STATEMENT Let’s break down each one. First, you want to use your target job title. If I’m a recruiter running a search on LinkedIn for a client services manager, I will use this position title to pull profiles of candidates who are already in this role or have past experience in this position. Second, as a recruiter, I will include specific skills in my search that are critical to success in the role. I might use “customer relations,” “sales,” or “operations.”  This will give me a list of candidates with the relevant experience and skills required for the role. Third, the personal branding statement is your chance to convey value to the hiring manager. It’s what gets them to click on your profile and read it, versus another candidate. It’s your unique differentiation factor. On my profile, I use this personal branding statement: I help executives attract better job offers with personal-brand-focused resumes.   This branding statement communicates who I help (executives), the value I deliver (attract better job offers), and how I do it (with personal-brand-focused resumes). Those three elements combine to create a unique value proposition. When creating your personal branding statement, include who you help, how, and to what end. I used this headline formula to update my husband’s profile last year when he launched his job search. He received a message from a recruiter within 24 hours of his headline update. Melissa, one of my LinkedIn Unlocked course students, saw a 1,277% increase in profile views after updating her headline. Another student, Josh, saw a 2200% increase in profile views after updating his. #Networking #JobSearch #Careers #LinkedInTopVoices

Are you looking to make your LinkedIn profile stand out? Your headline is your first impression—make it count! 1. Be Clear and Specific Clearly state what you do and what you offer. Avoid vague terms like "Consultant" or "Manager." Try something like "Digital Marketing Specialist Helping Brands Grow Online." 2. Highlight Your Unique Value What sets you apart? Showcase your unique value. For example, "Award-Winning Graphic Designer Creating Visuals That Tell a Story." 3. Use Keywords Think about the keywords recruiters or clients might use. Incorporate these naturally, like "SEO Expert Specializing in E-commerce Websites." 4. Show Your Personality Let your personality shine through. A memorable profile stands out. For instance, "Tech Enthusiast and Coding Ninja Making Websites Work Like Magic." 5. Include Your Achievements If you have notable achievements, include them. This adds credibility. For example, "Top 100 Content Creator with 50K+ Followers on LinkedIn." Examples: "Marketing Strategist Driving 10x ROI for SaaS Companies" "Cybersecurity Expert Protecting Businesses from Digital Threats" "Freelance Writer Crafting Engaging Content for Tech Blogs" "Project Manager | PMP Certified | Delivering Projects On Time and Under Budget" "Creative Director | Helping Brands Tell Their Story Visually" Your LinkedIn headline is your digital business card. Make it impactful, review it regularly, and ensure it reflects your current role and goals. Ready to elevate your LinkedIn presence? 🤔 Start by crafting a headline that showcases your strengths and attracts the right opportunities. #LinkedInTips #ProfileOptimization #CareerGrowth

So, I decided to create a series: "𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱: 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀”. In this series, I’ll share actionable tips that have worked for me and will work for you too! 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐔𝐩: 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 — 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 Your “About” section shouldn’t just be a professional bio. It’s your digital first impression — and it needs to make people want to learn more. When I first wrote mine, it sounded like this: "Dynamic and results-driven professional with experience in data analysis and strategy." Sounds fancy but completely forgettable. Here’s how I flipped it — and you can too: 🔹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗛𝗼𝗼𝗸 Your first line should make people curious: ❌ “Marketing Specialist with 5 years of experience.” ✅ “I help brands turn complex data into clear strategies that drive growth.” Catch attention from the get-go. 🔹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 → 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 → 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 Example: "When I joined XYZ Corp, they were struggling to make sense of their customer data. I designed a streamlined data reporting system that cut processing time by 40% and improved insights accuracy. Now, I’m passionate about helping companies turn numbers into strategy.” It’s personal, purposeful, and impactful. 🔹 𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Encourage interaction: “Let’s connect if you’re passionate about leveraging data to drive strategy!” 📌 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝘼𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙚 — 𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮. Let’s play pretend. You’re a UX designer. Your profile is the product. Hiring managers are the users. What’s the experience? → They land on your page. → Read your headline: “UX/UI Designer at XYZ.” → Skim your About section: “5 years of experience in design.” → See no Featured work. No clear impact. No story. What’s the verdict? Bounce. Confused. No trust. You just failed your own UX test. Because your profile isn’t a résumé. It’s a prototype of trust. It should do 3 things: → Communicate your value clearly → Guide them to take action (reach out) → Remove friction and doubt Instead, most profiles look like abandoned wireframes: → Generic “About” section with no story → Headline that’s just a job title → Experience written like a task list You’re a UXer. Apply UX. Make your profile scannable. Sticky. Trust-worthy. Here’s a fast fix: Headline: Who you help + how you help them About: Your “why” + your journey + your zone of genius Experience: Outcomes, not outputs Featured: Pin the 1–2 pieces that prove your impact This isn’t about being famous. It’s about being findable. Trustable. Hirable. Because LinkedIn isn’t just a platform. It’s your digital handshake. And most are using limp noodles instead of firm grips. So I’ll ask you: Is your profile a portfolio of trust — or a ghost town of tasks?

If your LinkedIn profile reads like a resume, congrats – you've just blended in with 1 billion other people on this platform. "Results-driven professional with 10+ years of experience in cross-functional collaboration." Cool. So are the other 1,400 applicants... If you're looking for work (or leads) right now, there are a few things you need to understand about your personal brand: Your LinkedIn is your live resume. It's the first thing people look up when you apply, pitch, or slide into their inbox. And if you're not treating your LinkedIn like a shop window, you've already lost. So, here are 3 simple steps to optimise your profile in a way that actually makes people want to connect with you ↓ 1. Ditch the jargon. No one's searching for "results-oriented self-starter." They're searching for someone who gets it. Your headline should say what you do and the results you get - in plain English. No MBA required. I have a winning headline formula for this - you can steal it here klowt.com/playbook/ 2. Rewrite your About section like you're speaking to one person. Not a recruiter. Not a hiring panel. One human. Tell them what you're great at. Why you enjoy it. What drives you. What you care about. Write like you would if you were explaining your work - and life to a friend over coffee. Your about is about YOU not just your job. 3. Show, don't just tell. Add a feature section. Pin your best posts. Link to the podcast you spoke on, the campaign you ran, and the client wins you're proud of. You're more than just a job title - let your work SHOW people that. 4. Post like your next opportunity is watching. Because it is. You don't need to go viral - you just need to show up. 60%+ of the best jobs aren't advertised and 40% of CEOs believe personal brand is more important than a resume. Share insights. Share stories. Share perspective. Just share something. 5. Show us your face. And your voice. And your actual personality. People connect with people, not marketing-approved PDFs 😂. It's not enough to be the "best" in 2025 - you have to be the best known. So, if your LinkedIn still looks like a Word doc with a profile picture, you're already behind. Build a brand that speaks for you. So YOU don't have to beg to be seen. 👉 Rewrite your About section like you're talking to one person. 👉 Show up like a human, not a headline. 👉 Say something. Anything. Just make it yours. The best opportunities aren't given to the people with the perfect resumes - they're given to the people who are the most memorable. So give them something to remember. P.S - I run a personal branding fast track group coaching group. Our members are getting 65k views a post, and inbound opportunities after 4 weeks. klowt.com/fast-track/

Product Designer | I can't solve a Rubik's cube but I can solve UX problem

My portfolio did start with "Hey I am Swati" But not anymore 😅 Here is what your headline should have: ✅ Impact you have made (not just your job title) ✅ Your unique strengths, process, or value ✅ Speak directly to your ideal audience ✅ Show your personality or story How to find your perfect headline: ✅ Clarify your audience ↳ Is it startups, agencies, SaaS founders, or solo founders? Define who you want to attract. ✅ Showcase results & strengths ↳ Are you the designer who drives conversions, creates memorable experiences, or solves complex UX puzzles? ✅ Share your unique journey or mindset ↳ Do you combine architecture and design thinking, lead remote teams, or use AI-driven strategies? What stands out about your background? ✅ Condense into one impactful sentence: ↳ Communicate what you do, for whom, and why it matters? Example: "Turning complex B2B SaaS problems into simple user experiences" Remember, your headline is the first thing people see. Make it count! What does your portfolio headline say? Don't worry if it starts with "Hi I'm__" 😂 (mine had the same too and we all start somewhere)
