Advantage Contest #39: What's your favorite?
Almost all our readers have been to Lakeside for one reason or another -- a tournament, a concert or play, a class field trip. Share why one stands out as a favorite in your memory!
What do you have to do?
Think of a favorite time you were at Lakeside and write down why it's a good memory for you. Your answer only needs to be a sentence or two! You can choose a time when you came with your family or your class or friends -- for a show or a game, or when you learned something interesting or saw something cool. We're eager to hear what you've liked! Never been to LL? Enter & tell us what you'd like to do!
Fill in the blank on the entry form you can download here (or find in the magazine), and then—on the lines— write one or two sentences that explains what was your favorite time at Lakeside and why.

DEADLINE: Monday, April 6, 2026
Contest open to students in 2025-26 grades K–8. Children of LLHS employees are ineligible for prizes. One entry per person. Five (5) winners will be chosen randomly from all accepted entries. One winner will receive $200 tuition credit applicable toward the first semester of attendance at Lakeside, and all will receive Lauber Lakeside bling and/or giftcards. Prizes are not transferable. Deadline to enter is Monday, April 6, 2026; winners’ parents will be notified by phone or email and recognized in the next edition of the magazine. Lakeside is not responsible for misdirected or lost entries. Acceptability of submissions will be at the sole discretion of judges.

About tuition credit prizes:
Each contest has its own set of rules and eligibility, but the following applies to all tuition credit prizes: all tuition credit prizes are applicable in the named student's first semester of attendance at Lakeside. The vouchers are non-transferable. Winners will receive certificates in the mail to mark their win, but the credit will be on account for that student's future attendance, regardless of whether the certificate is submitted upon enrollment.
