Lustrous, translucent spherical aggregates of variable light olive-green cuprian austinite are densely clustered on the sculptural sawed sturdy gossan matrix plate from the Ojuela Mine. Austinite is an uncommon anhydrous Ca-Zn-arsenate. This showy, rich and highly representative example is from the late 2006-early 2007 find at the renowned locale. These are probably best of species, and they have not been for sale in some time.
