Greenockite from

Washington County Aggregates Quarry, Washington County, Missouri, USA

Dimensions: 6.2 cm x 4.9 cm x 3.3 cm

A crust of earthy greenish-yellow greenockite is on dark sphalerite crystals, all on a white baryte matrix. As of June, 2017 very few specimens have been recovered from this quarry that have greenockite on them.
