Pedro Claim, Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River, Snoqualmie Mining District, King County, Washington, USA

Dimensions: 73 mm x 53 mm x 24 mm
Field of View: 28 mm

Extremely complex specimen showing a whole range of sulfides and accessory minerals. Sharp sphalerite crystals, pyrite druse, and an odd structure of Lillianite-Gustavite (per analysis on previous material from this locality) are scattered over a matrix of large chalcopyrite crystals with a satin luster, accompanied by siderite, calcite, and quartz xtls.

There is some kind of epitactic growth between some of the sphalerite and chalcopyrite which warrants further examination.

This photo is a close-up of the mass of lilianite and some of the accessory minerals.
