Hamza Ilhan Šito's bio

Welcome to my page.

My collection is seperated into two main sections:
Display minerals and systematic collections of Norway, Greenland, Sweden, Russia, The Larvik Pluton Complex, Tysfjord and Heftetjern to mention a few.

My main interest as of today is mineral chemistry, where I try to collect minerals with unique chemistry.

Currently I am one of the leading experts on the Bjertnes pegmatite. My goal is to get a overview over the different systems which work together to create a unique locality for U, and other, minerals.

The banner photo is of me collecting at the A/S Granit quarry in the Tvedalen region, Larvik, Norway (2026)

Please reach out to me via email if you have any questions: hamzaftw0@gmail.com
