A Texas mom’s doorbell camera has captured the kind of joy-filled family moment she said she will remember for the rest of her life.

Tabitha Luna (@tubby_tabby) shared footage from her Arlo doorbell in a clip on TikTok showing her husband Rico, 28, and their 2-year-old son Carter sprinting toward their front door in the pouring rain. The family was driving back from church when the heavens opened. By the time they pulled up to the driveway, they thought they could wait it out, but it just got worse.

"After a few minutes, we decided to make a run for it," Tabitha told Newsweek. "Since we don’t have gutters, it was basically a waterfall we had to run under. It was freezing and we were having fun so we couldn’t stop laughing the whole way inside."

...

Carter squealed in delight when the trio finally reached the front door—and her son’s laughter that will stay with Tabitha for life. The text overlay read: "When I’m 80 years old this is where I’ll go in my dreams."

"I’m living in the best time of my life right now," Tabitha said. "It’s just me, my husband and our toddler. We have so much fun doing the simplest things together, and I know one day when my son is grown or I’m old, I’ll look back on these moments and wish I could go back. We try to cherish every little moment we can."

Unbeknownst to them, the Arlo camera recorded the moment—something Rico discovered only a couple of days later.

"He sent it to me, and I listened to it probably 20 times because I just love Carter’s little laugh," Tabitha said. "It brings tears to my eyes. Any parent will probably tell you there is no greater sound than your child laughing. It’s my favorite thing in the world."

The wholesome clip has gone viral on TikTok, amassing over 16.1 million views. More than 3.1 million users have liked and commented—Kylie Jenner among them—with many left in tears over the special moment.

"That baby giggle," one user said.

"Tabby you have me crying at my phone," another added.

A third user wrote, "I love this because if you guys had been acting all bummed out and annoyed, he would learn to cry from the rain. This is amazing parenting. Great job!"

While Luna initially shared the clip just for friends, it quickly took off. "The comments have been my favorite part," Tabitha said. "So many parents shared their own sweet memories, grandparents reminded me how fast it all goes, and younger people talked about how they can’t wait to reach this season of life. It’s been so refreshing to have such kind, genuine interactions with strangers on the internet; that doesn’t happen very often anymore."
