Mo's Digital Pencil

It's been exactly 10 years since I was 
first contacted by a crafter named Peggy Marsh who told me about 
&quot;digistamps.&quot; She thought people would like to license the type of 
images I have been doing for my children's books -- for use in their 
handmade crafts. Who knew there was a way I could spend my day drawing, finish a piece, and then immediately provide it to fans all over the world thanks to the Internet? Who knew that my fans could download them in Australia, or the UK, or the Netherlands, Canada or USA, and use them to
 create the most AMAZING handmade greeting cards? Who knew I'd meet so many people that I now call friends?
 
 
But the theft 
of my images in China, on Pinterest and through people sharing my 
illustrations with people who haven't purchased them from me is ruining 
small companies like mine. I 
wanted to find a way to reward my loyal fans -- the many fans who have 
always helped me continue to create by purchasing my stamps legally, and by alerting me 
to thefts of my work. It's my hope to create a little community that's separate from 
the piracy going on, where only my &quot;real&quot; fans end up. I want to be able to spend my time drawing for YOU 
instead of playing Whack-a-Mole to take down stolen images on gigantic 
websites like AliExpress.
