By Plane
The fastest way to reach Šibenik is by air. The nearest airports are in Split and Zadar, both of which are approximately an hour's drive from Šibenik (Split Airport is about 55 kilometres away, and Zadar Airport is about 85 kilometres away). Getting to Šibenik from the Airports
After landing, you can reach the city of Šibenik in several ways: by bus, taxi, or rental car. The shuttle bus will take you to the main bus station in either Split or Zadar. Depending on which city you arrive in, you will need to transfer to a regular bus line, either Split – Šibenik or Zadar – Šibenik. There is also the option of taking a taxi or rental car, which requires less effort but may be more expensive than travelling by bus.
By Bus
There are several international lines connecting Šibenik with European cities. Šibenik is linked by direct bus routes to Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. By Car
If you are travelling from neighbouring countries, arriving by car is a very practical option. Šibenik can be reached via the A1 motorway, which links Zagreb and Split, making the city easily accessible. The motorway exit for Šibenik is located near the city.
