Special Issue on Urban Growth and Planning Strategies

Urban Growth and Planning Strategies refers to the systematic approach used to manage the expansion and development of urban areas. It involves the creation of plans that guide the development of infrastructure, housing, transportation, and public services to accommodate population growth while ensuring sustainability, economic vitality, and quality of life. These strategies address challenges such as land use, environmental protection, social equity, and economic development. Urban growth planning also focuses on optimizing space, reducing congestion, promoting green spaces, and integrating modern technologies to create more livable, efficient, and resilient cities. The goal is to balance growth with environmental and social considerations, while fostering inclusive urban environments.
