Southern Regional Library Facility
Established in 1987, the Southern Regional Library Facility (known as the SRLF) provides space for University of California library materials, archives and manuscript collections.
Utilizing high-density shelving, the collections are stored in a climate-controlled environment that is designed to preserve the collections over time.
Hours open to public:
Monday - Friday: 1 PM - 5 PM
Access now open to all public users.
Follow UCLA public health guidelines to visit.
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Closed all University holidays

The SRLF Is Reorganizing As SLF-South
We're excited to share some big news about the two regional library facilities!
As of March 2025, the UC Regional Library Facilities (NRLF and SRLF) are reorganizing into the UC Systemwide Library Facilities (SLFs).
What does this mean for you? In short, you can expect both facilities to continue to directly advance UC's academic mission, and to provide seamless discovery and access to scholarly information.

Carlo Medina, New SRLF Director
Carlo Medina, who began his career in the campus library system nearly 30 years ago, has been named director of the University of California Southern Regional Library Facility (SRLF) and UCLA Library Unified Access Services, effective July 1.

SRLF Visitor Parking in LOT 11
Parking Lot 11 in now open for public visitors of SRLF.
Please review the parking information on UCLA Visitor Parking website. Currently the parking fee is $4/hour or $15/day and can be purchase at the self pay kiosk in Lot 11. Location, map & parking fees can be found on this website under Parking Rates by Location - Parking Lot 11.
Parking in LOT 17 at the SRLF is not permitted without a valid LOT 17 permit. No Visitor or Cross Parking permits are available at this time.
