Cargo transportation by transport corridors in January-June 2025

In January-June 2025, 7120,1 thousand tons of cargo were transported by railway, 3752,2 thousand tons by sea, and 5307,7 thousand tons by road transport through the transport corridors. The volume of cargo transported via the East-West transport corridor amounted to 8300,8 thousand tons, including Europe-Caucasus-Asia transport corridor – 4088,9 thousand tons, North-South transport corridor – 4690,5 thousand tons, North-West transport corridor – 2930,4 thousand tons, and South-West transport corridor – 258,2 thousand tons. Transit cargo accounted for 45,8 percent of the cargo transported by railway, 42,3 percent by road transport, and 95,1 percent by sea transport.
