Industrial output in January-August 2025
In January-August 2025 industrial products at 42,0 billion manats or 1,2 percent less compared to the corresponding period of previous year were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field. The product output in the oil-gas sector decreased by 2,1 percent, while in the non-oil and gas sector it increased by 4,8 percent.
61,2 percent of industrial products were produced in the mining sector, 32,3 percent in the manufacturing sector, 5,5 percent in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam and 1,0 percent in the sector of water supply, waste management and remediation activities.
Marketable oil production in the mining sector decreased by 4,7 percent, while marketable gas production increased by 2,8 percent.
In the manufacturing sector, the production of pharmaceutical products increased by 93.5 percent, the production of wood processing and wood products by 85.6 percent, textile industry products by 29.0 percent, food products by 10.8 percent, chemical industry products by 8.4 percent, tobacco products by 8.0 percent, rubber and plastic products by 6.1 percent, machinery and equipment by 0.7 percent, on the other hand, the production of oil products decreased by 0.1 percent, beverages by 0.4 percent, construction materials by 4.2 percent, furniture production by 7.6 percent, metallurgy products by 12.3 percent, fabricated metal products by 12.7 percent, electrical equipment by 13.8 percent, installation and repair of machinery and equipment by 14.0 percent, garment production by 20.8 percent, leather and leather products, including footwear by 22.1 percent, polygraphy products by 23.6 percent, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers by 24.8 percent, paper and cardboard by 26.2 percent, computer, electronic and optical products by 29.1 percent.
In the sector of electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply, the volume of production increased by 1.6 percent, and in the sector of water supply, waste treatment and processing the production volume increased by 4.4 percent.
