Matthew Hale

Matthew has joined TASSC as the Development Manager. He previously worked for more than a decade for Freedom House where he was part of a team providing emergency assistance to human rights organizations targeted because of their work globally. He got to work firsthand with incredibly resilient survivors of torture.

Matthew had the privilege of meeting with TASSC founder Sister Dianna Ortiz when she was campaigning with victims of torture in front of the White House when he worked with Amnesty International.

“It is a huge privilege to join TASSC,” he says. “Seeing the TASSC community rally around and contribute however they can to provide vital frontline services at this critical moment has been so inspiring.” Matthew always encourages donations—that’s his job!
