The University of Malta community came together once again for the much-awaited olive-picking event, returning after a year’s break, and this year’s harvest has set a new record.
A remarkable 1,119 kilograms of olives were collected from the UM grounds, marking the largest yield to date.
Thanks to the collaboration and support of The Malta Food Agency and BSS, the olives have now been pressed into high-quality olive oil, which will be made available as part of Christmas on Campus 2025.
