SEA-EU Film Festival 2025: get your work shared on an international stage

Get your work shared at the international stage and presented at the University of Algarve during the SEA-EU Film Festival.

The University of Algarve (Portugal), a member of the European University of the Seas (SEA-EU) alliance, invites all students to apply to the SEA-EU Film Festival by sending videos 3 - 15 minutes long.

The idea of the festival is to promote the artistic work of students and allow new talents to showcase their work to the international community. The best-ranked videos will be selected by the international jury of experts from all SEA-EU universities. Selected videos will be exhibited in Faro (University of Algarve, Higher Institute of Engineering – ISE) during the Sea Heritage Staff Week (29 October 2025).

Theme
The theme of the call is open, and will welcome all ideas and topics to ensure everyone can contribute.

Who can apply?
The call is intended for all SEA-EU students as well as students from other universities outside of the Alliance.
