Join WUNC News' Environment reporter Celeste Guajardo for a special Spotlight event that turns North Carolina water policy into a live, interactive game show.
Through a fast-paced presentation inspired by the energy, drama, and audience participation of a classic game show, Celeste will break down the complex world of PFAS and 1,4-dioxane pollution, the politics behind key regulatory decisions, and what it all means for public health.
To make sense of the people, policies, and industries shaping North Carolina’s water future, the event will feature interactive elements, audience participation, field reporting clips, and a game-show-style format designed to unpack one of the state’s most urgent environmental issues without losing the fun. At the end of the program, audience members will weigh in on the biggest drivers behind North Carolina’s water challenges—and what accountability could look like moving forward.
Expect storytelling, surprises, and plenty of opportunities to engage, including a live Q&A.
Space is limited, and this event includes complimentary lunch. Reserve your spot now!
