A coal powered motorcycle

I previously posted a video about a fellow who built and then rode a jet powered scooter. Today we have a video about an English gent who has a coal powered steam motorcycle. He gives a very detailed explanation of how it works. I can't say that, even with all the redundant safety valves and features, sitting atop a boiler so I can chug down a street sounds all that appealing to me. I will say that it looks nice.

Lipstick and leather

Just a short picture post of some old-timey girls on motorcycles. I wonder how much tsk-tsking they caused back in the day? They're from the Vintage News post Girls and Their Rides: Photo Collection of Women on Motorcycles.

Making a Rover Imperial motorcycle

This early silent film documents the making of a Rover Imperial motorcycle. It starts with casting the engine block and goes through to test driving the completed motorcycles.

A diesel motocycle

At least I think it is a hand-cranked Lister diesel powering it. Although it looks old, and Lister engines have been around for a long time, the comment with the video says it was built in 2009/2010. Whatever it is, it is a very cool looking motorcycle.

Multitasking

This video clip is several years old, but I only first saw it today. I wonder if the idiot on the motorcycle still has his health, or if he is even still alive for that matter.
